Libyan Gold Tektite is a glassy yellow material with an amorphous crystal system. This silica tektite is believed to be created from a meteorite 26 million years ago, it is unlike anything you have ever seen.
Found in the Great Sand Sea region (modern-day Sahara Desert), this ancient glass is completely natural and unique. In ancient Egypt, a funerary necklace containing a carved scarab made from Libyan gold tektite was found in the tomb of king Tutankhamun.
