By looking at the picture I thought it was going to be bigger bucket. that was a little disappointing. once I started going through the sand, it was small rocks at first, the deeper I went they got larger and more interesting there were actually more rocks than you would think.

My 11 year old son really enjoyed digging through the bucket and pulling out nice huge pieces of gems! He was excited to match it to the provided card to see what he had. I would recommend this to any family who has children that like gems and rocks.
